Digital Content Creator/Editor

Reports to: Vice President of Marketing

Job Summary
Create and edit copy that drives lead generation, supports lead nurturing and upsells campaigns for Divers Alert Network brand, programs, products and services across its digital, social and print channels.

Responsibilities
  • Write and edit SEO-friendly copy for website, social media networks, display advertising campaigns, electronic campaigns, blogs and video scripts.
  • Create compelling campaign copy to be used across multiple marketing channels; email, landing pages, paid social and PPC that support lead generation and upsell revenue-generating campaigns.
  • Work with Marketing Content and Media Specialist to develop, manage and execute editorial calendar of forward-thinking content for the scuba diving industry.
  • Assist with content creation and editing of marketing collateral and member communications.
  • Write using appropriate tone for a variety of audience segments; create relevant and timely content for internal and external publications.
  • Edit and proofread materials for accuracy, consistency, clarity, style, format and grammar. Maintain freshness in materials by periodically reviewing work and monitoring efficacy of copy.
  • Interact with internal departments and external resources to identify topics and produce copy.
  • Track performance, and make recommendations for optimizations.

  • Required Qualifications
  • A degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field
  • Four or more years of experience in content writing for web and mobile and social apps, writing news stories or articles, technical and creative online copy

  • Ability to repurpose content for multiple channels
  • Deep understanding of social-media marketing, including SMO, advertising, publishing and reporting tools and governance

    Database Programmer

    FLSA: Exempt

    Reports to: VP, Information Technology

    Occupational Summary: Customize, maintain and develop data solutions to meet the company needs, and work on building our proprietary software built on the .Net/MS SQL framework. You will be required to understand the functionality of all existing data structure as well as independently develop new features and integrations into the existing platform.

    Duties/Responsibilities
  • Recommend data solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications
  • Install revised or new database systems by proposing specifications; recommend ideal access techniques; coordinate installation requirements
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-availability databases in accordance with end project's needs and views

    Staff Accountant

    FLSA: Full Time

    Occupational Summary:
    Responsible for daily bank deposits, iMIS batch integration, sales invoicing, accounts receivable processing and reconciliation, credit card chargeback responses and purchase order receiving and accrued purchases reconciliation.

    Work Performed
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and cash and general ledger journal entries
  • Reconcile and post iMIS batches and integrate into Dynamics
  • Physically take deposits to bank daily
  • Convert orders to invoices and mail to members with balances due or route internally for payment
